Concerning Church History on Twitter

A few years ago I sat down to imagine things you could do on the Internet to help people better understand the Christian faith. I came up with the idea of using Twitter to do a Church History project, because 1) I thought it would be interesting to describe the people and debates of the past in such a small space, and 2) because the oldest events end up at the bottom of the timeline.

I find it even more interesting how the chronology played out. To give one example, Constantine had become the Emperor and began working to "Make the Roman Empire Great Again" around the same time Donald Trump won the election and began working to "Make America Great Again," getting the same results that Constantine had.

During all the turmoil about Trump's campaign and victory, I was at home laughing, thinking to myself I have heard this story before!
